Quote of the Day: Carl Everett on Dinosaurs

Nothing helps a Monday go by like some words of wisdom from Carl Everett.

"God created the sun, the stars, the heavens and the earth, and then made Adam and Eve," Everett said last Friday, before the Red Sox lost two of three in Atlanta. "The Bible never says anything about dinosaurs. You can't say there were dinosaurs when you never saw them. Someone actually saw Adam and Eve. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."

What about dinosaur bones?

"Made by man," he says.

WTF!!!!

I know this really isn't the place, but I still don't see why religion and science cannot work together.

Because one is based on science, while the other is based on, well, nothing.

And to make matters worse, the one that is based on nothing makes scientific claims. And they have no right doing so.

If you're going to be stupid enough to believe in fairy tales and ghost stories, I have at least have some sort of respect for you if you tell me that your beliefs are based entirely on faith and you have no evidence to support your beliefs. But if you start talking about "evidence" for Gid, that is when you're being even more of an idiot and you deserved to be mocked even more. Carl Everett is the idiot of all idiots.
