With word coming down late last night that the Nationals signed Stephen Strasburg to a 4 year/$15.7 million dollar deal, I can't help but think towards next year.
So without further ado, here's a simple question: how much money will Bryce Harper receive next year assuming he stays healthy and productive?
Considering the hype surrounding Harper already, I would assume that Harper's total package would be well north of the $15.7 million that Strasburg got from the Nationals.
What's your best guess?

Considering that he'll probably use Scott Boras, I would think at least $20 million. Harper is even more mythical at this point than Strasburg. If he hits a few more 570 foot home runs, he might get $25 million.
Boras has to salivating at the thought of Bryce Harper...
I agree with Brad, that he will shoot for $20 million, but I have a feeling the Nationals are going to want him locked through his arbitration years.
The hype around Bryce Harper is amazing. From most accounts, he is considered to be the most complete high school baseball player since Josh Hamilton. I cant wait to see how this story ends.
