Hallelujah!

Spring training...is finally here.

26 of 30 teams have their first practices today, including my beloved Metropolitans.

Hallelujah! Spring has come! Baseball is back.

T minus 51 days until the regular season begins....

Collapse....what collapse?

In all seriousness, my inner organs cannot take another collapse from the Mets this season...

...thinking good thoughts....

Here we go Yankees! There's no collapse, this team has the makings to be the best team since the 1998 Yankees. Time will tell.

I just hope the Braves get close enough to have a chance to collapse.

GM: Totally agree!

Bob: Gotta love the Yanks roster and the moves they have made so far. I have them as the favorite in the AL East, but as we know, that can change quickly because of the awesome talent in the East.

theMARksMiTh: I actually think the Braves will do quite well this year...as long as Chipper stays healthy.

What do you think about signing Griffey? I say go for it.

thanks for the great comments.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about it, but I think it is an upgrade. If he stays healthy, he should help, but he is 39 or 40 and has a long injury history. We just don't know what to expect.
