No Offseason Manny Watch in 2014...Rejoice!

I know there are many out there like me, who got sick of the Manny watch this offseason. I don't care how good Manny is, there is just no justifying how much Manny made the news cycle over the past five months. Even though Manny watch is likely to resume after this season, there is hope for people like myself that Manny watch will be a thing of the past...eventually.

ESPN.com:

The 36-year-old Ramirez struck out on three pitches in the first inning Wednesday against top San Francisco prospect Madison Bumgarner, the 10th player taken in the 2007 draft. Bumgarner, 19, is expected to start the season at Class-A San Jose after going 15-3 with a 1.46 ERA at Class-A Augusta in 2008.

"He's great. He's nasty," said Ramirez, who fouled off two fastballs before swinging over a curve. "Good fastball. Good curve. Sneaky."

Told he will be facing Bumgarner for the next five years, Ramirez chuckled.

"You crazy," he said. "I'm not going to play that long."

So if Manny has another 3-4 years left in him, how many home runs do you think he will end up with? I'd say 635....but that might be on the conservative side.

Opinions?

3 years -- 610
4 years -- your guess is pretty good
